Ochre Park School is fortunate to have many excellent parent volunteers. Some of the areas and initiatives enhanced by parent volunteers include:

- Reading Support
- Special events
Sturgeon Public Schools now requires that all school volunteers who may have independent supervision of students, obtain and present a current Criminal Record Check. This is done free of charge at the Redwater and Morinville RCMP detachments if a letter is presented from the school.
